  "heading": "Payments on death",
  "text": "(1) On the death of a person who has made a claim for benefit, the Secretary of State may appoint such person as he thinks fit to proceed with the claim.\n(2) Any sum which is payable under an award on a claim proceeded with under paragraph (1) shall be paid to the personal representatives of the deceased or to such other persons as the Secretary of State considers fit.\n(3) An award on a claim proceeded with under paragraph (1) shall not provide for payment of benefit for any period after the date of death.",
