# The Armed Forces (Compensation Limits) Order 1991, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 4th December 1991
Coming into force 1st January 1992
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 71(6) of the Army Act 1955(), section 71(6) of the Air Force Act 1955() and section 43(7) of the Naval Discipline Act 1957(), hereby makes the following Order:-
