# The Armed Forces (Enlistment) Regulations 2009, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 31st October 2009
The Defence Council make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 328 of the Armed Forces Act 2006:
In accordance with section 373(3) of the Armed Forces Act 2006 a draft of this instrument was laid before, and approved by resolution of, each House of Parliament.
