# The Armed Forces Pension (Consequential Provisions) Regulations 2015, Introduction: Introductory text


Public Service Pensions
Made 23rd February 2015
Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1
The Secretary of State for Defence makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1(1) and (2)(h), 2(1) and 3(1), (2), (3)(a) and (4) of the Public Service Pensions Act 2013.
In accordance with section 21 of that Act, the Secretary of State for Defence has consulted the representatives of such persons as appear to the Secretary of State likely to be affected by these Regulations.
In accordance with section 3(5) of that Act, these Regulations are made with the consent of the Treasury.
Pursuant to section 24(1) and (3) of that Act, a draft of this instrument has been laid before, and approved by a resolution of, each House of Parliament.
