In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1(1)(a) and 10(2)-(4) of the Armed Forces (Pensions and Compensation) Act 2004^f1, and pursuant to article 2 of the Armed Forces (Pensions) (Prescribed Modification) Order 2009^f2, the Secretary of State for Defence makes the following Order:
