  "text": "(1) For the purposes of this Schedule, a reference in PSPJOA 2022 to section 2(1) of that Act coming into force is to be understood as a reference to that section coming into force in relation to the armed forces pension Schemes.\n(2) A term used in this Schedule which—\n(a) is defined in, or for the purposes of, a provision in Chapter 1 of Part 1 of PSPJOA 2022, and\n(b) is not defined differently in this Schedule,\nhas the meaning given in, or for the purposes of, that provision.\n(3) A term used in this Schedule which—\n(a) is defined in Schedules 1 or 2 to this instrument or the AFP Regulations 2014 (“the relevant Schemes”), and\n(b) is not defined differently—\n(i) in this Schedule, or\n(ii) in, or for the purposes of, a provision in Chapter 1 of Part 1 of PSPJOA 2022,\nhas, in relation to the relevant Schemes, the meaning given in those Schemes.\n(4) In this Schedule, a reference to a provision of the PSP Directions 2022 is a reference to that provision as amended from time to time.",
