  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nSection 1(1) of the Armed Forces Act 1991 provides that the Army Act 1955, the Air Force Act 1955 and the Naval Discipline Act 1957 should continue in force until 31st August 1992 and should then expire unless continued in force in accordance with the section. The Army, Air Force and Naval Discipline Acts (Continuation) Orders 1992, 1993 and 1994 (S.I. 1992/1712, S.I. 1993/1804 and S.I. 1994/1903 respectively) have each provided for the continuation of the Acts for a period of 12 months. Under the 1994 Order, the Acts will continue in force until 31st August 1995.\nThis Order enables the Army Act 1955, the Air Force Act 1955 and the Naval Discipline Act 1957 to continue in force for a period of 12 months beyond 31st August 1995.",
