Regulation 2 Kind and levels of support for essential living needs

Regulation 10 of the Asylum Support Regulations 2000^f1 (kind and levels of support for essential living needs) is amended as follows.

For paragraph (2) and the table in that paragraph substitute—

“(2)
As a general rule, asylum support in respect of the essential living needs of that person may be expected to be provided weekly in the form of a cash payment of £36.95.”.

(3)

Omit paragraph (3).

(4)

In paragraph (3A) for “the table at regulation 10(2)” substitute “paragraph (1)”.

(5)

Omit paragraph (4).

(6)

In paragraph (5)—

(a)

omit “(or couple)”;

(b)

for “the amounts shown in the Table” substitute “the amount specified”.
