  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nRegulations 2 and 4 amend regulation 3(3) of, and revoke the Schedule to, the Asylum Support Regulations 2000 (“the 2000 Regulations”) so that there is no longer a requirement that the application form issued by the Secretary of State is the form shown in the Schedule.\nRegulation 3 amends regulation 10(2) of the 2000 Regulations by increasing the cash amounts payable, as a general rule, in respect of a person’s essential living needs. These changes take effect from 9th April 2007 and on that date the Asylum Support (Amendment) Regulations 2006, which set out the amounts previously payable, are revoked.\nA full regulatory impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no impact on the private or voluntary sector is foreseen.",
