# The Asylum Support (Amendment) Regulations 2026, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 27th March 2026
The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 8(1) of Schedule 8 to the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999.
