Regulation 11 Transitional provision

Where an asylum-seeker or a dependant of an asylum-seeker is receiving assistance from a local authority under section 21 of the National Assistance Act 1948^f1 or under section 17 of the Children Act 1989^f2 immediately before the beginning of the interim period, he is to be taken to have been accepted for support by the local authority providing such assistance.
