# Atomic Energy Authority Act 1986, Section 9: Interpretation


in this Act—
“the Authority” means the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority, and
“subsidiary” and “wholly owned subsidiary”have the meaning given by section 1159 of the Companies Act 2006.
