  "text": "(1) The Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988 is amended as follows.\n(2) In Schedule 1 (offences to which sections 1, 6, 11 and 12(1) of that Act apply)—\n(a) in paragraph 1A(b), omit the final “, and”;\n(b) in paragraph 1A(c), at the end insert\n“, and\n(d) an offence under section 66(3) of the Automated Vehicles Act 2024, where the offence consists of a failure of a person driving or propelling a vehicle to comply with a direction under section 65(1)(a) of that Act.”;\n(c) before paragraph 3(c) insert—\n“(bc) an offence under section 66(3) of the Automated Vehicles Act 2024, where the offence consists of a failure of a person driving or propelling a vehicle to comply with a direction under section 65(1)(a) of that Act, and”;\n(d) before paragraph 4(b) insert—\n“(ab) an offence under section 66(3) of the Automated Vehicles Act 2024, where the offence consists of a failure of a person driving or propelling a vehicle to comply with a direction under section 65(1)(a) of that Act, and”.\n(3) In Part 2 of Schedule 2 (penalties for road traffic offences) at the end insert—\n“\nAn offence under section 66(3) of the Automated Vehicles Act 2024, where the offence consists of a failure of a person driving or propelling a vehicle to comply with a direction under section 65(1)(a) of that Act.\nDiscretionary.\nObligatory.\n3\n”.",
