# The Aviation Safety (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019, Paragraph 6: EU implementing Regulations made under principal EU Regulations

Where, as a result of these Regulations, any provision of assimilated direct legislation imposes an obligation on the Secretary of State to make regulations, that obligation is to be treated as having been met in a case where, prior to exit day, the European Commission adopted a delegated act or an implementing act under that provision, or implementing rules under a corresponding provision.
