# The Aviation Security (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2024, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 9th December 2024
Coming into force 31st January 2025
The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by Articles 4(3) and 15A(4)(b) of Regulation (EC) No 300/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 March 2008 on rules in the field of civil aviation security.
