# Avon Weir Act 1992, Section 24: Status of works in impounded river


For the purposes of any function of—
(a) Trinity House; and
(b) the Secretary of State;works in the impounded river other than—
(i) Work No. 1; and
(ii) any works downstream of the weir;
shall not be treated as tidal works.
