# The Awards for All (England) Joint Scheme (Authorisation) Order 2005, Introduction: Introductory text


NATIONAL LOTTERY
Made 16th February 2005
Laid before Parliament 23rd February 2005
Coming into force 1st April 2005
Whereas the Secretary of State has by order authorised the Awards for All (England) joint scheme (“the Scheme”), having received an application for the purpose by the participants in the Scheme, namely the National Heritage Memorial Fund, the National Lottery Charities Board, the New Opportunities Fund, the English Sports Council and the Arts Council of England;
And whereas the participants in the Scheme have modified it and have applied to the Secretary of State for her to make an order authorising the Scheme as so modified;
Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon her by paragraphs 2(1), 3 and 6(1) of Schedule 3A to the National Lottery etc. Act 1993, hereby makes the following Order:
