  "text": "The joint scheme provides for the making of grants of not less than £50 and not more than £10,000 to support community activities—\n(a) on or connected with the arts,\n(b) on or connected with sport,\n(c) on or connected with the national heritage,\n(d) on or connected with small scale projects in local communities which involve people within those communities,\nand which meet one or more of the following programme aims—\n(i) to extend access for, and participation by, members of local communities in the activities described in sub-paragraphs (a) to (d),\n(ii) to increase skill and creativity of those participating in the activities,\n(iii) to improve the quality of life of those participating in the activities.",
