Article 16 Transitional provisions relating to compensation etc

Any compensation, gratuity, grant or allowance paid or payable, whether before or after the appointed day, under any regulations made by the Governor under section 15 of the Bahama Islands (Constitution) Order in Council 1963^f1 or under section 9 of the Bahama Islands (Constitution) Order 1969, which under those regulations as in force immediately prior to the appointed day was or would have been exempt from tax in the Bahama Islands, shall be exempt from tax to the same extent in The Bahamas after the appointed day.
