# The Bahamas Independence Order 1973, Paragraph 134: Public Debt


The Public Debt of The Bahamas, including the interest on that debt, sinking fund payments and redemption monies in respect of that debt and the costs, charges and expenses incidental to the management of that debt, is hereby charged on the Consolidated Fund.
