# The Bahamas Independence Order 1973, Paragraph 68: Constituencies


The Bahamas shall be divided into thirty-eight constituencies or such greater number as may be provided for by an Order made by the Governor-General in accordance with the provisions of Article 70 of this Constitutions and each such constituency shall return one member to the House of Assembly.
