  "text": "(1) In this Act—\n“the1975 Act” means the Criminal Procedure (Scotland) Act 1975;\n“constable” means a constable within the meaning of the Police (Scotland) Act 1967 acting in the course of his duties;\n“diet” includes any continuation of a diet.\n(2) Except where the context otherwise requires, expressions used in this Act and in the 1975 Act shall have the same meanings in this Act as in that Act.",
