# Bail Etc. (Scotland) Act 1980(Repealed 1.4.1996), Section 11: Interpretation.

Extent: S

(1) In this Act—
“the1975 Act” means the Criminal Procedure (Scotland) Act 1975;
“constable” means a constable within the meaning of the Police (Scotland) Act 1967 acting in the course of his duties;
“diet” includes any continuation of a diet.
(2) Except where the context otherwise requires, expressions used in this Act and in the 1975 Act shall have the same meanings in this Act as in that Act.
