# The Bank Recovery and Resolution Order 2016, Article 5: Removal of impediments to the exercise of the stabilisation powers etc


In section 3A(8) (removal of impediments to the exercise of stabilisation powers etc) , in the definition of “institution”, after “a bank” insert “ , building society (within the meaning of section 119 of the Building Societies Act 1986 ) ”.
