# The Barking Barrage Order 1995, Article 41: Agency arrangements


The Port Authority may at any time after the coming into force of this Order enter into an arrangement with the Borough by which the Borough exercises on behalf of the Port Authority any of its powers or duties in respect of the upstream river, and such arrangement may contain any terms or conditions including any relating to the defraying of or the making of contributions towards the cost thereof that the Borough and the Port Authority may agree to be appropriate.
