# The Barking Barrage Order 1995, Article 44: Powers of statutory authorities


The powers and duties of the Port Authority, the River Authority and any other statutory authority under this Part of the Order shall only apply while that authority has jurisdiction in respect of the whole or any part of the upstream river.
