# The Barking Barrage Order 1995, Article 8: Cables, pipes or wires under or over tidal water or tidal lands


Notwithstanding anything in this Order any cables, pipes or wires to be laid or placed by the Borough under the powers contained in this Order (other than those laid or placed within or attached to the structure of the barrage) under or over any tidal waters or tidal lands below the mean high water level of spring tides shall be laid or placed at such depth under, or such height over, tidal waters or tidal lands as the Port Authority and River Authority may require.
