# The Beef and Pig Carcase Classification (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2012

Coming into force 18 April 2012
The Welsh Ministers being designated for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 in relation to the common agricultural policy of the EU, make these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by that section.

## 1 Title, application and commencement

(1) The title of these Regulations is the Beef and Pig Carcase Classification (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2012.
(2) These Regulations apply in relation to Wales.
(3) These Regulations come into force on 18 April 2012.

## 2 Interpretation

In these Regulations, “the 2011 Regulations” (“Rheoliadau 2011”) means the Beef and Pig Carcase Classification (Wales) Regulations 2011.

## 3 Amendment of regulation 2(1) of the 2011 Regulations

In regulation 2(1) of the 2011 Regulations, in the Welsh text, after the definition of “darpariaeth eidion Ewropeaidd” (“European beef provision”), insert—
“ystyr “darpariaeth moch Ewropeaidd” (“European pig provision”) yw darpariaeth a bennir yng ngholofn 2 o Atodlen 2, y disgrifir ei chynnwys yng ngholofn 3 o'r Atodlen honno;”.
