Article 2 Amendment of the Beef (Emergency Control) Order 1996

The Beef (Emergency Control) Order 1996^f1 shall be amended in accordance with the following paragraphs.

In article 2, the existing paragraph shall be numbered paragraph (1) and the following new paragraph shall be inserted —

“(2)

Paragraph (1) above shall not apply to meat from a bovine animal slaughtered in any of the countries specified in the Schedule to this Order.”.

The following schedule shall be added—

• Argentina

• Australia

• Botswana

• Brazil

• Mauritius

• Namibia

• New Zealand

• Paraguay

• Poland

• South Africa

• Swaziland

• Zimbabwe.”
