# The Beer Regulations 1993, Introduction: Introductory text


CUSTOMS AND EXCISE
Made 6th May 1993
Laid before Parliament 18th May 1993
Coming into force 1st June 1993
The Commissioners of Customs and Excise, in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by sections 2, 41A, 46, 47, 49 and 67 of the Alcoholic Liquor Duties Act 1979, sections 93, 100G, 100H, 118A and 127A of the Customs and Excise Management Act 1979 and sections 1 and 2 of the Finance (No.2) Act 1992 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby, make the following Regulations:
