# The Benchmarks (Amendment and Transitional Provision) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019, Regulation 4: Scope

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

In Article 2 (scope)—
(a) in paragraph 1, for “Union” substitute “ United Kingdom ”;
(b) in paragraph 2—
(i) in point (c), after “(CCP)” insert as“ as defined in Article 2(1) of Regulation (EU) No 648/2012 of 4 July 2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council on OTC derivatives, central counterparties and trade repositories as it forms part of retained EU law”;
(ii) in point (d), for “listed in Section C of Annex 1 to Directive 2014/65/EU” substitute “ specified in Part 1 of Schedule 2 to the Regulated Activities Order ” ;
(iii) in point (g)(i), for the words from “trading venue” to “2014/65/EU,” substitute “ UK trading venue ”.
