(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order amends the Constitution of Bermuda to establish thirty-six single-member constituencies for elections to the House of Assembly. It thus gives effect to the recommendations of the Constituency Boundaries Commission which reported to the Governor of Bermuda in August 2002. The Order also makes some consequential amendments following the Bermuda Constitution (Amendment) Order 2001, and revokes section 2 of that Order (which established the Constituency Boundaries Commission which reported in August 2002).
