# The Biodiesel and Bioblend Regulations 2002, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 26th July 2002
The Commissioners of Customs and Excise, in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by sections 6AC(1)(a) and (b), (2) and (4), 21(1)(a) and (2) and 24(1) of, and paragraph 11 of Schedule 3 and paragraph 3 of Schedule 4 to, the Hydrocarbon Oil Duties Act 1979, section 118A(1) and (2) of the Customs and Excise Management Act 1979 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following regulations:
