# The Bluetongue Regulations 2008, Regulation 23: Costs of compliance

Extent: E+W+S+NI

Unless the Secretary of State directs otherwise in writing, the costs incurred by any person in taking any action required, or in refraining from taking action that is prohibited, by or under these Regulations must be met by that person.
