# The Bluetongue (Scotland) Amendment Order 2026, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends the Bluetongue (Scotland) Order 2012 (“the Order”).
Article 2 amends article 24 of the Order to enable the Scottish Ministers to permit voluntary vaccination in a bluetongue restricted zone.
