# The Bodmin Railway Centre Light Railway Order 1989, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 31st August 1989
Coming into force 1st September 1989
The Secretary of State for Transport on the application of the North Cornwall District Council and the Bodmin and Wenford Railway plc and in the exercise of powers conferred by sections 3, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 18 of the Light Railways Act 1896, as amended by the Light Railways Act 1912 and Part V of the Railways Act 1921, and section 121(4) of the Transport Act 1968, and now vested in him, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:–
