# The Boiler (Efficiency) Regulations 1993, Paragraph 10: Quality system


(1) The manufacturer shall lodge an application with a notified body of his choice for the assessment of the quality system for his boilers and appliances.
(2) The application shall include—
(a) all relevant information for the boiler or appliance category envisaged,
(b) the quality system’s documentation,
(c) the technical documents pertaining to the approved type and a copy of the EC type-examination certificate.
