# The Boiler (Efficiency) Regulations 1993, Paragraph 2: Conformity to type


The manufacturer shall take all measures necessary to ensure that the manufacturing process assures the conformity of the manufactured appliances with the type as described in the EC type-examination certificate and with the efficiency requirements of these Regulations.
