  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nThis Order gives effect to proposals mffiade by the Local Government Boundary Commission for Scotland for a change to electoral arrangements for the Borders Region (the Region) as described in the Schedule to the Borders Region (Electoral Arrangements) Order 1977 (the 1977 Order).\nThe effect of the proposals is to divide the Region into 27 electoral divisions as described in the Schedule to this Order.\nThe 1977 Order is revoked by this Order.",
