# The Borough of Dacorum (Electoral Changes) Order 2007, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force in accordance with article 1(2)
The Boundary Committee for England, under section 15(4) of the Local Government Act 1992 (“the 1992 Act”), have conducted a review of the borough of Dacorum and have submitted to the Electoral Commission recommendations dated August 2006.
A period of not less than six weeks has expired since the receipt of those recommendations.
The Electoral Commission have decided to give effect, with modifications, to those recommendations.
Accordingly, the Electoral Commission, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 17 and 26 of the 1992 Act, make the following Order:
