# The Borough of Thurrock (Electoral Changes) (Amendment) Order 2003, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends the Borough of Thurrock (Electoral Changes) Order 2002, so as to provide for borough councillors holding office immediately before 10th May 2004 to retire on that date and for newly-elected councillors to come into office on that date.
