# The Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (No. 2) Amendment Order 1989, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends the Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (No. 2) Order 1988 by deleting from that Order a provision whereby the prohibition on the sale, supply and use of certain feedingstuffs for feeding to ruminating animals imposed by that Order will have ceased to have effect on 1st January 1990 (article 2).
