# The Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy Order 1988, Article 1: Title and commencement


(1) This Order may be cited as the Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy Order 1988 and except for article 7, shall come into force on 21st June 1988.
(2) Article 7 of this Order shall come into force on 18th July 1988.
