# The Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy Order 1988, Article 2: Extension of definition of “disease”


For the purposes of the Act in its application to this Order the definition of “disease” in section 88(1) of the Act is hereby extended so as to comprise bovine spongiform encephalopathy.
