# The Bristol Development Corporation (Planning Functions) Order 1989, Article 2: Interpretation


In this Order –
“the 1971 Act” means the Town and Country Planning Act 1971;
“the 1980 Act” means the Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980;
“the development area” means the area designated as an urban development area by the Bristol Development Corporation (Area and Constitution) Order 1988; and
“the development corporation” means the Bristol Development Corporation.
