# The British Citizenship (Designated Service) (Amendment) Order 1994, Introduction: Introductory text


BRITISH NATIONALITY
Made 5th March 1994
Laid before Parliament 11th March 1994
Coming into force 1st April 1994
Whereas I consider service under the Customs Co—operation Council, the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council, the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council and the Particle Physics and Astronomy Research Council to be closely associated with the activities outside the United Kingdom of Her Majesty’s Government in the United Kingdom;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 2(3) of the British Nationality Act 1981, I hereby make the following Order:
