  "text": "(1) These Regulations may be cited as the British Nationality (General) (Amendment) Regulations 2004 and shall come into force on 28th July 2004.\n(2) Nothing in these Regulations shall affect any application for naturalisation as a British citizen made before the coming into force of these Regulations.",
