  "long_title": "Section 31(1) of the Enterprise and New Towns (Scotland) Act 1990 provides that section 9 of the Industry Act 1975 (the National Enterprise Board and the media)shall apply in relation to Scottish Enterprise as it applies inrelation to that Board. Section 9 was repealed by the British Technology Group Act 1991 on the appointed day under that Act (6th January 1992). The purpose of this Order is to save the application of section 9 in relation to Scottish Enterprise. This is effected by modifying section 31(1) of the Enterprise and New Towns (Scotland) Act 1990 so that any reference in section 9 of the Industry Act 1975 to the National Enterprise Board is to be treated as a reference to Scottish Enterprise (Article 2)and by providing that for the purposes of the said section 31(1), as modified, the repeal of section 9 of the Industry Act 1975 shall not affect the continuing operation of that section, in relation to Scottish Enterprise (Article 3).",
