# The Broadcasting (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019, Paragraph 35

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

(1) The Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 is amended as follows.
(2) In section 297A (unauthorised decoders) , in subsection (4), in the definition of “transmission”, in paragraphs (a) and (b), omit “or any other member State”.
(3) In section 298 (rights and remedies in respect of apparatus, &c for unauthorised reception of transmissions) , in subsection (1), in paragraphs (a), (b) and (c), omit “or any other member State”.
