  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nThis Order confers jurisdiction on the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council in respect of appeals from the Supreme Court of Brunei Darussalam. Section 2(3) of the Brunei (Appeals) Act 1989 revokes the Sarawak, North Borneo and Brunei (Appeal to Privy Council) Order in Council 1951 (S.I. 1951/1949) and the Brunei (Appeal to Privy Council) Order in Council 1963 (S.I. 1963/1491) as from the date of the coming into force of this Order.",
